Gortmore is working with a leading contractor seeking a Site Engineer for a Rail infrastructure project in the Leeds area.
The candidate must:
- Have previous experience working on Rail projects, including Civils, Soil Nails, RC Structures, and service/drainage installation.
- Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to the site team; ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control.
- Ensure works are constructed according to the latest design and approved specifications.
- Maintain Project QA procedures and keep the site diary updated.
- Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying/ordering materials such as concrete, rebar, and drainage/earthworks materials.
- Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
- Possess excellent communication skills for effective distribution of project information.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and proactively raise potential issues.
