Gortmore is working for a contractor who is looking for a Site Engineer on a large RC project in the Luton area. Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require.
The Candidate Must:
- Have previous experience working on Groundworks & RC projects, including groundworks, ducting, drainage, and RC frames.
- Have excellent knowledge of laser levels, total stations, and GPS.
- Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to the site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
- Ensure project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
- Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying materials.
- Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
