Gortmore is working for a contractor who is looking for a Site Engineer on a large RC project in the Luton area. Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require.

The Candidate Must:

  • Have previous experience working on Groundworks & RC projects, including groundworks, ducting, drainage, and RC frames.
  • Have excellent knowledge of laser levels, total stations, and GPS.
  • Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to the site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
  • Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
  • Ensure project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
  • Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying materials.
  • Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
  • Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
  • Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
