Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Section/Senior Engineer on a high-profile Infrastructure Project in the Gravesend area.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage and distribute project information to several site engineers and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
- Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
- Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working on Substation projects, earthwork, RC structures, service and drainage installation, etc.
- Competent in ordering rebar.
- Previous experience working with designers.
- Experience with AutoCAD and reading drawings, Cut & Fill, and quantifying/ordering materials such as concrete, rebar, drainage/earthworks materials, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to raise potential issues.
