Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Section/Senior Engineer on a high-profile Infrastructure Project in the Hillingdon area. The candidate must:
- Have previous experience working on Substation Projects, Earthwork, RC Structures, service/drainage installation, etc.
- Be competent in ordering Rebar.
- Have previous experience working with designers.
- Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to several site Engineers and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed Specification.
- Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
- Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, Cut & Fill’s, and quantifying/ordering materials such as Concrete, rebar, drainage/earthworks materials, etc.
- Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
A vehicle and Fuel Card will be provided.
