Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a QA Engineer on a high-profile Infrastructure Project in the Hillingdon area. This is a long-term role and the role will be entirely office based.
The candidate must:
- Have previous experience working on construction projects, earthwork, RC structures, service/drainage installation, etc., as a QA Engineer.
- Be competent in uploading documentation to contractors' SharePoint.
- Be able to work collaboratively with the project team and supply chain to maintain continuing assurance for the works, including inspections, documentation and benchmarking.
- Have previous experience working with designers and specifications.
- Monitor, manage, upload and distribute project information to the project team.
- During external audits, prepare documentation to satisfy requests for certification.
- Be able to identify the relevant material specifications required for carrying out the works and upload to SharePoint for approval.
- Be able to raise ITPs, RFIs, KPIs, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
A vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
