Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Senior Engineer on a high-profile Infrastructure Project in the Devon area. The candidate must:
- Have previous experience working on Civil’s projects including Earthworks, drainage, service/ductwork installation, and RC Concrete.
- Be competent in ordering material and rebar.
- Have previous experience working with designers.
- Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to site engineers and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
- Ensure project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
- Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, cut & fill’s, and quantifying/ordering materials such as concrete, rebar, and drainage/earthworks materials.
- Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
