Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Senior Engineer on a high-profile project in the Wiltshire area. The candidate must:

  • Have previous experience working on civil projects involving drainage, service/ductwork installation, and RC concrete.
  • Be competent in ordering materials and rebar.
  • Have previous experience working with designers.
  • Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to site engineers and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
  • Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
  • Ensure project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
  • Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, cut & fill, and quantifying/ordering materials such as concrete, rebar, and drainage/earthworks materials.
  • Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
  • Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
  • Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
