Gortmore are looking for Site Engineers on a high-profile infrastructure project in the Fort Williams area. Candidate must have:
- Previous experience of working on civils projects including sheet piling, dredging, earthworks, drainage, RC concrete, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of setting out using GPS, robotic EDM and laser levels.
- Ability to manage and ensure QA documents are completed correctly.
- Capability to carry out ITPs.
- Competence in reading drawings and quantifying materials.
- Excellent communication skills for distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Ensuring that works are being carried out to the latest drawings and documents.
- Able to work as part of a team in assisting site management with material, KPIs, progress reports, etc.
- Maintain a daily site diary.
- Problem-solving capabilities and ability to raise any potential issues.
A vehicle, fuel card and lodge will be provided.
