Gortmore are working for a leading contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer on a high-profile infrastructure project in Gatwick Airport. The candidate must:
- Have previous experience working on civil projects on drainage installation, service installation, laying asphalt, etc.
- Have excellent knowledge of laser levels, total stations and GPS.
- Monitor, manage, distribute project information to the site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
- Ensure project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
- Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
- Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
