Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Senior Engineer on a RC project in the Camden area. The candidate must:
- Have previous experience working on RC structures, service/drainage installation, etc.
- Be competent in ordering rebar and be able to liaise with designers regarding detailing.
- Have previous experience working with designers.
- Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to several site engineers and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
- Ensure project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
- Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying/ordering materials such as concrete, rebar, drainage/earthworks materials, etc.
- Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
