Gortmore are working with a contractor who is looking for a Site Engineer on a large RC project in the Luton area.

Responsibilities:

  • Have previous experience working on groundworks and RC projects, including groundworks, ducting, drainage and RC frames.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of laser levels, total stations and GPSs.
  • Monitor, manage, distribute project information to the site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
  • Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
  • Ensure project QA is being carried out and the site diary is maintained.
  • Must be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
  • Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
  • Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
  • Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
