Gortmore are working with a contractor who is looking for a Site Engineer on a large RC project in the Luton area.
Responsibilities:
- Have previous experience working on groundworks and RC projects, including groundworks, ducting, drainage and RC frames.
- Must have excellent knowledge of laser levels, total stations and GPSs.
- Monitor, manage, distribute project information to the site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
- Ensure project QA is being carried out and the site diary is maintained.
- Must be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
- Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
