The predicted salary is between 15000 - 20000 £ per year.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to children’s learning, confidence and wellbeing. As part of our supportive staff team, you will work closely with teachers to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. This position is contracted on an 18 hours per week + 5 days Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.

Job Purpose

To support the learning, personal development and inclusion of pupils in accordance with the ethos and policies of the school. To provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old in a safe, secure and stimulating kids club environment.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of play and how to create opportunities for a wide range of ages and interests.
  • Experience of working in a school environment would be advantageous.
