We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and organisation of our hotel premises. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a background in hospitality or janitorial services. Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Train, mentor, and support housekeeping staff to uphold organisational standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet company policies.
  • Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
  • Develop work schedules for housekeeping team members, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
  • Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, striving for high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations across the property.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is essential.
  • Prior janitorial experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
