Your role
As a Senior Solutions Architect you lead the technical pillar of our customer implementations and integrations of Gorilla’s innovative data solutions in the energy sector, ensuring robust technical implementations while fostering a culture of growth, transparency, and excellence. You are the technical advisor to level up customers' data architecture and assess fit-for-purpose system architecture. You are a thought leader when it comes to internal enablement and advocating for product improvements through engagement on the roadmap definition and product development cycle.
What you'll do
- Provide high-quality technical advice and guidance.
- Audit customer and colleague on requirements, designs, architecture and scalability.
- This job requires occasional travel to customers (expect a few days per month).
- Develop comprehensive technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Deliver solid technical project plans and blueprints during advisory services and sales.
- Ensure clients fully understand and effectively utilize Gorilla’s solutions, resulting in high customer retention and satisfaction through high-quality technical training and advisory.
- Continuously propose and implement process improvements, best practices and documentation to enhance project implementation excellence and effectiveness.
- You partner up with product teams to define technical roadmap features and capabilities.
- Mentor junior implementation consultants, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Drive internal enablement through the creation of product implementation blueprints, product documentation, implementation assets and best practices.
What you'll need
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, delivering large IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical requirements and constraints and customer expectations.
- Deep understanding of system integrations, data-intensive applications, and architectural design, with knowledge of integration technologies, data technology and cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze client needs and infrastructure to develop tailored solutions.
- Proficiency in integration technologies (REST API, JSON, XML, SFTP/FTPS) and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills both written and spoken.
- Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector is a significant plus.
