Children's Residential Registered Managers, join an established and well-respected not-for-profit organisation in Lancashire, who are currently expanding their Children's Home provisions. As a Children's Home Manager you will lead a recently opened 3-bed children’s residential home for young people aged 8–16. This is the charity’s first children’s home, with plans to grow carefully and thoughtfully over time. The home is already open, already supporting its first young person, and has a full team in place who have built meaningful relationships with the child currently living there.

Salary and benefits:

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing the residential team.
  • Maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and practice.
  • Supporting young people aged 8–16 to feel safe, understood and able to make progress.
  • Working closely with the RI, Deputy Manager and wider support team.
  • Building on the positive work already done in the home.
  • Supporting the home as it grows from one young person to full occupancy.
  • Continuing to embed a warm, therapeutic and child‑centred culture.
  • Preparing for future Ofsted activity and maintaining strong regulatory standards.

Essential requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in children’s residential care.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or working towards it.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted and safeguarding requirements.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
