About Gorilla
Gorilla provides cutting‑edge data services to energy retailers, helping them navigate a complex, regulated market while accelerating the transition to cleaner energy. We’re building the intelligence layer for the next phase of the energy transition — and we’re looking for the person who’ll build the pipeline engine that powers our growth.
About The Role
As Senior Demand Generation Manager, you’ll own Gorilla’s demand generation from strategy through to execution. We already have foundations in place — paid media on LinkedIn and Google, email nurture and lifecycle programmes in HubSpot, attribution via Dreamdata, analytics in Google Analytics, and SEO visibility through SEMrush — but we’re looking for someone who’ll assess what we have, build on what's working, and bring fresh thinking on what’s missing.
You’ll come in with a point of view on how to build a more predictable, scalable pipeline engine — across the existing stack and beyond — and you’ll have the freedom to test, iterate, and scale what works. We’re not looking for someone to run a fixed playbook. We’re looking for someone who’ll challenge our assumptions, bring new ideas to the table, and build something that compounds over time.
You’ll work closely with Sales and RevOps, own the tools that underpin our attribution and reporting, and mentor more junior colleagues. Given white space, you’ll figure out the why, the what, and the how — then make it happen.
About You
- You’ve built demand gen programmes for enterprise audiences with complex, multi‑stakeholder buying processes — and you’ve done the work yourself, not just managed it.
- You think across the full funnel: awareness, engagement, conversion, and the re‑engagement loops most teams neglect.
- You’re comfortable with intent data, ABM, remarketing, and engagement‑based targeting, and you know how to apply them when your addressable market is measured in hundreds of accounts, not thousands.
- You have a point of view on what great demand gen looks like — and you’re confident enough to act on it.
- You talk about pipeline and revenue, not clicks and impressions.
- Experience in energy, utilities, or a similarly regulated sector is a bonus. A proven ability to build for enterprise audiences with long sales cycles is what matters most.
What You’ll Do
- Demand generation strategy: Own the full‑funnel demand generation strategy — define the channel mix, set priorities, and make calls on where to invest and what to cut.
- Channel ownership & experimentation: Run campaigns end‑to‑end across paid media, email nurture, ABM, and webinars, while identifying and testing what else should be in the mix.
- Engagement, remarketing & conversion: Build programmes that keep Gorilla visible and relevant to in‑market buyers across a long sales cycle. Use intent signals and behavioural data to sharpen targeting and improve conversion.
- Tools, data & marketing operations: Own the toolstack — HubSpot, Dreamdata, Google Analytics, SEMrush — and evaluate what’s missing as we scale.
- Attribution, reporting & insights: Report on pipeline contribution and channel performance in commercial terms to marketing leadership.
- Team & stakeholder leadership: Mentor more junior colleagues and raise demand gen capability across the team.
What You’ll Need
- 5–7 years in B2B SaaS demand generation, with hands‑on ownership of strategy and execution.
- Experience across a broad channel mix — paid media, email, ABM, and intent or engagement‑led programmes.
- Strong HubSpot expertise; familiarity with Dreamdata or comparable attribution tools.
- Direct budget ownership with accountability for pipeline outcomes.
- Highly autonomous, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a regulated, enterprise sales environment.
What’s In It For You
- A job with purpose: At Gorilla, we’re not just watching the world change—we’re making it happen! We provide cutting‑edge data services to energy retailers, helping them tackle climate change while keeping the lights on; we’re here to make a big impact and have some fun along the way.
- Remuneration approach which is clear and no‑nonsense based on your experience and location.
- Core benefits - Wherever your location, you can expect a generous PTO allowance, health insurance coverage.
- Career growth opportunities: As Gorilla is growing at an incredible pace, you can leave your mark – growing alongside Gorilla. Lifelong learning is essentially embedded in our organization, and we care about your individual dreams and ambitions, beyond just work.
- International travel: We host Gorilla Company Wide Gathering where we all get a chance to see each other in real life. Past locations have included Portugal, Amsterdam, Wallonia.
