Implementation Consultant UK
Gorilla - Energy Margin Intelligence is looking for an Implementation Consultant to drive digital transformation in the energy sector. The role focuses on managing end‑to‑end delivery of our data‑centric SaaS solutions, ensuring seamless integration and high‑quality client demos.
What You\'ll Do
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring flawless delivery from inception to go‑live.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and design an integration game‑plan.
- Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams and process maps, advising on best practices for data processing and integration.
- Lead technical demos and workshops, translating complex concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Collaborate closely with Energy Consultants and data engineers to shape scalable, automated solutions.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements, driving the continuous evolution of our professional services.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; comfortable tackling complex technical challenges.
- Educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred, Bachelor’s with relevant experience accepted).
- Hands‑on experience with IT projects or digital products (≈2 years of experience).
- Experience in data‑intensive applications (Python, Pandas a plus).
- Proficiency with system integrations (REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, SFTP/FTPS) and a major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with architecture, process mapping, and modelling techniques (UML, BPMN).
- Ability to switch between detailed technical work and high‑level client interactions.
- Fluency in English, willingness to travel (~1 month per year).
Office Mix
This position is hybrid, based in London. You will work 1–2 days per week in the office, with the remaining days offering flexibility.
