Your role As a pivotal member of our team, your role is to bridge the gap between Gorilla’s innovative solutions and our clients’ needs. With a strong foundation in project delivery and a comprehensive understanding of the energy sector, you will lead the co-creation of bespoke calculation models. Your tasks include configuring and refining our platform, ensuring every solution perfectly aligns with the customer’s requirements. You will: Collaborate closely with customer business experts, employing your project delivery skills and energy sector knowledge to craft the ideal solutions. Utilize your deep understanding of pricing, forecasting, and portfolio management to develop tailored calculation models in Gorilla. Identify enhancements to our solution, establish a project backlog, and direct our data engineers with clear, actionable development tasks. Uphold development quality through comprehensive test scenario creation and execution. Workwith project managers, solution architects, and the data engineering team to elevate the delivery of IT projects. What you\’ll do Your expertise in project delivery and the energy sector will drive the development of cutting-edge calculation models and solutions. From the initial sales phase through to project implementation, you will: Engage with clients, solution architects, and engineers to define requirements for calculation models and pinpoint specific data needs and algorithms. Use your knowledge of the UK Energy market to advocate for Gorilla’s solutions, guiding prospects and clients through our pricing, forecasting, and billing offerings. Facilitate workshops for customers, translating complex project details into comprehensible information for all stakeholders. Analyse client processes, pricing, and forecasting methodologies to effectively brief our engineering team and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Champion co-creation and teamwork, collaborating closely with colleagues across departments. What you\’ll need 5+ years of Retail Energy project delivery focused on pricing, forecasting, or trading Deep understanding of the energy sector, capable of navigating multiple geographical energy markets and with a keen eye on industry trends and developments An analytical and numerical problem solver with a knack for understanding and addressing complex challenges Proficient in English, with exceptional communication skills both in writing and speaking What\’s in it for you Flexible work options – whether you choose Office Mix or Remote First Mix (currently available within certain timezones and locations).
