Our Primary school opened in September 2014, and our Secondary school opened in September 2016. We have the children; we have the brand-new state‑of‑the‑art building; we now need you! You are very welcome to visit us, even if you don’t end up applying for the post. We are 20 minutes on the tube from Mile End, and just 15 minutes’ drive from East London. We are seeking a committed and proactive Attendance Officer to join our team. As a school with the highest attendance in the borough, we pride ourselves on maintaining exceptional standards and are looking for someone to help sustain and further improve our school’s success.
Key responsibilities:- Monitor and track pupil attendance daily
- Follow up on absences and lateness promptly
- Work with families to support improved attendance
- Identify and address patterns of persistent absence
- Conduct home visits where appropriate
- Liaise with the Local Authority
- Maintain accurate attendance records in line with statutory requirements.
