Duties
- Stock maintenance & merchandising products.
- Awareness of customer needs and providing exceptional customer service.
- Accuracy in the operation of till transactions and cash handling.
- Assist Pharmacist when required in providing an efficient, accurate and safe dispensing service in store, ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Assist the Pharmacist with dispensary related tasks when required.
- Assist on the OTC counter and complete relevant training when required.
- Providing knowledge / up to date advice on our product ranges, promotions and special offers.
- Update and maintain all manual/computerised records.
- Delivery and collection of prescriptions when required.
- Maintain professional standards of dress and grooming.
- General housekeeping.
- Other duties as required.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
- Good numeracy and accuracy skills.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in local Gordons Chemists branches.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft packages.
Desirable Requirements
- 6 months experience in a similar retail environment demonstrating selling skills.
- Previous health and beauty retail experience.
- Previous pharmacy / OTC experience.
- NPA Interact qualification or equivalent recognised qualification/working experience in a dispensary.
- Full, clean UK driving license.
- Access to a vehicle.

Duration
This position is Full Time and Permanent. Working 37.5 hours / 5 days per week Monday to Saturday as per shop rota.
