The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Hours: This position is 40 hours / 5 days Monday to Friday working primarily 7.30am - 4.00pm (consideration can be given to 32 hours / 4 days).

Location: Head Office: 74 Scarva Road, Banbridge, BT32 3QD.

Duties Include:

  • Delivering pharmacy products to our stores throughout Northern Ireland.
  • Ensuring all Health and Safety Practices and Policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Carrying out Pre Drive Vehicle Checks & basic routine vehicle maintenance, such as oil, tyre, brake checks and reporting of damage.
  • Safely loading, unloading and securing goods on the vehicle; Manual Handling, Lifting and Carrying goods.
  • Planning delivery routes; Logging delivery information correctly.
  • Having a strong awareness and compliance of the highway code.
  • Providing an excellent standard of customer service to customers and other road users.
  • Following traffic reports and staying aware of any route diversions or updates to delivery journey and adapting routes if necessary.
  • Ensuring vehicles are kept in a clean and presentable condition.
  • Maintain professional standards of dress and grooming.
  • Other duties as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Clean HGV Class 2 UK Licence (Category C) or European Equivalent.
  • Valid Driver Qualification Card (Digicard) (CPC).
  • Previous experience in a Multi-drop delivery driver role.
  • Demonstrate a good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland.
  • Flexible and able to do additional hours as job role and business needs dictate.
  • Eligibility to work in UK.

Desirable Requirements:

  • 2 years previous experience in a Multi-drop delivery driver role.
