Location: Gordons Chemists, Unit 1, Belvedere Park, Gortmerron Link, BT71 6LS
Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week (as per shop rota)
Duties include:
- Assist the Manager with the daily running of the store
- Assist the Manager with overall shop responsibility
- Assist the Manager in dealing with staff issues
- Assist with mentoring and training of staff
- Promote exceptional customer service and continually review service levels
- Achieve store targets
- Stock maintenance
- Merchandising products
- Ensure accuracy in till transactions, cash handling and submitting reports to Head Office
- Ensure orders are sent to/received from the warehouse in a timely manner
- Collect prescriptions from local and surrounding surgeries
- Deliver and collect prescriptions to customers
- Deliver and collect prescriptions between branches as required
- Undertake key holder duties
- Maintain professional standards of dress and grooming
- General housekeeping
- Other duties as required
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a similar retail environment demonstrating selling/customer service skills
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to positively influence staff
- Approachable, flexible attitude to work
- Good numeracy and accuracy skills
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work in local Gordons Chemists branches
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Desirable requirements:
- 1 years experience in a similar retail environment demonstrating selling/customer service skills
- Previous experience supervising/leading a team of 5 people or more
