About the Role:

We’re looking for a Gambling Therapist to provide vital therapeutic support to individuals recovering from gambling addiction. You’ll support residents from assessment through to aftercare, helping them work towards long-term recovery and independent living.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-to-one and group therapy using CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centred approaches
  • Manage a caseload and maintain accurate case notes
  • Work closely with the wider team to ensure seamless care and support
  • Identify and manage risks, safeguard concerns, and referrals
  • Contribute to programme development and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Counselling (BACP registered)
  • Training in CBT and/or Motivational Interviewing
  • Experience in addiction, mental health, or residential care settings
  • Strong communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills
  • Commitment to person‑centred, recovery‑focused care
