The Opportunity: Compassionate and professional, our Senior Funeral Directors are responsible for ensuring everything goes smoothly on the day. They act as the senior role model for all Funeral Directors in the area, inducting and training staff, supervising, arranging and conducting funerals, ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and procedures. They will be conversant with and offer the full range of products and services available, as well as local customs and practices within the community. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with administration, operational duties, recruitment, and training as required.
  • Maintaining a high standard of personal appearance.
  • Being responsible for the appearance, speech, and conduct of staff during and after funerals.
  • Dealing with client complaints together with your Manager.
  • Ensuring branches are maintained to the highest standard of presentation and repair.
  • Communicating ideas that would benefit the client and the business.
  • Leading by example and acting as an ambassador for the company at all times.

About You: You will already have experience of conducting funerals having worked in the funeral industry previously. You will have good knowledge of the funeral process and the confidence to deliver an exceptional experience for every family we work with.
