About Us

At Funeral Partners, we offer a sensitive, professional service to the families in our care, and we are leading the way in setting new standards of excellence within the profession.

The Opportunity

Humphris Funerals - Banbury are currently looking for a casual Funeral Service Operative. The hours are varied, and there is an opportunity to fit the role around your other commitments.

Calm and professional, our Funeral Operatives play a vital role in our service and are often the first members of the team to meet our families. A good Funeral Service Operative will be able to provide reassurance to families that we will take good care of their loved ones whilst we prepare them for their final journey.

In addition to bringing people's loved ones into our care, Funeral Service Operatives work behind the scenes, in the mortuary, fitting coffins, dressing the deceased, participating in funeral services, pallbearing, and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Being a Funeral Service Operative can be challenging and rewarding, and no two days are quite the same.

Your duties will include driving company vehicles, so you'll need a full driving licence. You will also participate in the out-of-hours and on-call rota, which offers opportunities for additional payments.
