We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse team. This is a hands-on role involving goods-in, picking and packing, stock control, quality checks and dispatch, where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail are essential.

Our client is a well-established, fast-growing retail supplier with an entrepreneurial culture. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their warehouse team with a reliable and hardworking individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

As Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, unloading and accurately checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and shipping documentation
  • Carrying out quality-control inspections, identifying damaged, faulty or incorrect products and reporting any discrepancies
  • Logging incoming stock accurately and ensuring products are labelled and stored in the correct warehouse locations
  • Picking and packing customer orders with a high level of accuracy
  • Preparing UK and international shipments, including booking courier collections and printing shipping labels
  • Processing customer returns and updating stock records accordingly
  • Assisting with stock control, stock counts and investigating discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate warehouse records and inventory information
  • Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time and to the highest standard

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and takes pride in producing accurate work. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a warehouse, fulfilment, goods-in, dispatch or stock control role
  • Experience receiving, checking and processing incoming deliveries
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confidence using computers, warehouse systems and courier booking portals
  • The ability to work efficiently without compromising accuracy
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a small team
  • A flexible approach and willingness to support across all warehouse functions
  • The ability to undertake a physical role involving lifting, moving and handling stock safely
  • Experience carrying out quality-control inspections, processing customer returns or working with fragile or high-value products would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm. In return, you'll receive:
