Working for a dynamic trade body within the construction industry. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking organisation in an influential and pivotal role.  We are looking for somebody who can join within the next 2-3 weeks  and handover with the outgoing post holder.  You will work alongside the CEO and hold an influential role The post-holder will be employed on a temp to perm basis.  The role is multi-faceted encompassing strategic support to the CEO, public affairs, corporate governance, international relations, stakeholder management and communications. About you!  Significant experience in corporate affairs, public affairs, government relations or executive support at senior level. Strong understanding of parliamentary processes and stakeholder engagement. Experience of developing relationships with senior external stakeholders. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Experience of committee governance and administration. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against demanding deadlines. High degree of professionalism, discretion and political awareness. Experience of managing staff and external suppliers. The starting salary on offer is circa £50K
