Our client is a growing premium product manufacturer in the UK construction industry. Supplying leading national and regional customers, they have developed a reputation for product and service excellence across the UK. As part of continued growth, they now need a business development manager in the East Anglia region.
Location: Regional home-based and field-based sales role (c50/50) (Field sales area: Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Peterborough)
The Role: The Business Development Manager role is both home and field based and takes responsibility for:
- Managing a range of existing and new customers across the region (contractors, developers, house builders, architects, buyers, end clients).
- Managing a high volume of leads and data to track existing sales and identify new sales opportunities with a range of contacts and stakeholders.
- Tracking sales processes and projects from start to finish, building relationships and influencing at each stage.
- Supported by an experienced leadership team; develop a successful sales strategy to deliver growth and hit targets.
The Person Needed: Our client is open to considering candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, but needs to see:
- Prior business-to-business sales experience, selling into professional customers.
- Ideally experience selling a performance product.
- Confidence in engaging with, and making an impact with, new stakeholders and contacts.
- Creativity and energy in overcoming barriers to customer engagement.
The Rewards: £40-41K Basic salary, 8-10K OTE, Expensed electric vehicle, pension, health insurance, 25 days leave pa.
