Our client is a global manufacturer of premium roofing and waterproofing materials whose brand is synonymous with quality and innovation. As a result of continued growth, they are now looking to add an experienced salesperson to their Northern team.

Location: Field sales role North (flexible). Ideal home locations: M6, M1, M62, Manchester, Merseyside, Liverpool, Warrington, Chester, Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford, Rotherham, Barnsley, Sheffield, or close.

The job role: The Business Development Manager role is a technical field-based sales role representing our client, a manufacturer of performance roofing materials.

  • Selling: commercial roofing products, liquid applied roofing products, waterproofing materials.
  • Engaging with architects, engineers, main- and sub-contractors, roofing contractors and applicators.
  • Taking responsibility for the full sales life cycle from specification to project completion, partnering with all stakeholders.
  • Supporting clients on site to offer technical guidance and product selection.

The person needed: For the Business Development Manager role our client is looking for:

  • Prior experience selling a related product i.e. roofing products, roof materials, liquid applied roofing products or waterproofing materials.
  • Confidence in managing a commercial project and sales cycle from start to completion.
  • Good commercial acumen and a dynamic professional approach.

The rewards: Β£55-65K Basic salary + 20% OTE. Fully expensed vehicle, pension, healthcare, full package.
