We are recruiting a Learning & Assessment Administrator to join an established and highly regarded professional membership organisation in Central London.

This is an initial five-month fixed-term contract , with the possibility of continuing beyond this depending on business requirements.

Working within a friendly and busy Education & Learning team, you'll provide high-quality administration supporting learners throughout the learning, examination and assessment process.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, computer savvy, quick to learn and confident using databases and systems . Previous experience within education, examinations, assessment, a membership organisation or similar environment would be particularly useful.

What will you be doing?

You’ll provide varied administrative and systems support, including:

  • Responding to learner and stakeholder enquiries by telephone and email
  • Supporting online examinations and assessments
  • Uploading candidate data and assessment materials
  • Maintaining accurate records across CRM and assessment systems
  • Resolving learner access and platform queries
  • Processing assessment entries, postponements, withdrawals and absences
  • Supporting requests for reasonable adjustments and other assessment requirements
  • Scheduling meetings and coordinating with examiners and other external stakeholders
  • Tracking tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Processing invoices, payments and associated administration
  • Working with Excel spreadsheets, reports and data
  • Producing reports and statistics from internal systems
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information securely
  • Supporting the wider team during busy assessment periods

About You

You’ll ideally have:

  • At least two years' administrative experience
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience using a CRM, database or similar business system
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience would be advantageous but isn't essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data-processing skills
  • Strong organisation, planning and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Confidence dealing with customers or stakeholders in a busy environment
  • The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to ask questions when needed
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while remaining calm under pressure

Previous experience within education, examinations, assessment, learning, professional membership or a similar environment would be particularly advantageous.

  • Initial 5-month fixed-term contract , with potential to extend
  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm
  • Hybrid working: 2 days in the office and 3 days from home , with some flexibility required according to business needs
