Our client is a dynamic growing brand in the energy efficiency sector delivering large scale property assessment and retrofit solutions to local authorities, housing associations and the social housing sector in the UK. Due to continued growth they wish to add an experienced sales professional to their field-based team.
Job Role
The Senior Business Development Manager role is a remote proactive and dynamic sales role and entails:
- Selling our client's end-to-end property management, energy assessment (e.g. ECO4 and GBIS) and retrofit project/delivery solutions.
- Building on existing success, this role will take responsibility for growing their presence in the local authority, housing association and the social housing sectors across the UK - directly engaging with relevant stakeholders to win new business.
- The role utilises existing strong CRM data and new customer information, alongside the creation of new customer targets.
- The role will see you play an active role in setting the company's go-to-market strategy, building out processes, marketing, value proposition and setting goals and deliverables.
Location
The Senior Business Development Manager role is home-based and remote, but will require travel to regional offices in London and the Midlands.
The Person Needed
For the Senior Business Development Manager role the ideal candidate will bring:
- Prior experience selling into local authorities, housing associations, the social housing sector, or similar public sector customers.
- Knowledge of the energy efficiency sector e.g. retrofit, property surveys, ECO4, GBIS or similar government funded initiatives.
- A dynamic and goal-orientated and adaptable approach to supporting growth across the UK for an ambitious brand.
The Rewards
£55-65K Basic +20% annual bonus Company car or car allowance, full package.
