Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE) - increasing to £35,000pa following successful probation

Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established membership organisation based in Central London for a Learning Assessment Executive. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality qualifications and assessments, supporting the assessment process from planning and coordination through to results and post-assessment activity. It would suit a strong senior administrator or assessments professional with excellent coordination skills, strong technical confidence, and the ability to work independently in a structured environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in education, assessments, or a similar regulated environment who is confident managing multiple priorities and working with data, systems, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of assessment processes and learner experience
- Coordinate assessment schedules, timelines, meetings, and related administration
- Upload, manage, and maintain candidate and assessment data accurately
- Work with examiners and internal stakeholders to support the preparation and review of assessment materials
- Monitor live online assessments and provide support where required
- Produce reports and maintain accurate assessment records and documentation
- Respond to learner and stakeholder queries relating to assessments and related processes
- Support post-assessment activity including appeals, absences, and extenuating circumstances
- Contribute to the smooth running and continuous improvement of assessment procedures
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant administrative experience within an exams, assessments, or education environment - Desired
- Has strong advanced Excel skills and confident general Microsoft Office capability - Essential
- Is technically confident, with either intermediate or advanced systems skills
- Can pick up new processes and systems quickly
- Has strong scheduling and coordination experience
- Is confident working independently and managing priorities with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates excellent organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Communicates clearly and confidently with a range of stakeholders
Highly Desirable
- Experience using the Surpass assessment platform
- Knowledge of the education or awarding body sector
- Experience working with online assessment systems and frameworks
