They are a diverse, engaging, and inclusive employer, offering opportunities to be part of an organisation with a long-standing history and strong presence in their sector.Purpose of the RoleThe Learning and Assessment Administrator will be responsible for supporting learners through the entire assessment process. This includes handling technical queries related to exam entries and adjustments, managing the delivery of online assessments, and ensuring smooth post-assessment procedures. The role is key in providing a high-quality learner experience and maintaining the security and integrity of the Institute’s processes.Main Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Support: Manage internal and external queries via phone and email, providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
- Technical Administration: Provide technical support for online examinations, including uploading candidate data, assigning markers, and producing results files.
- Live Assessment Monitoring: Monitor live assessments in progress, providing support to candidates in a calm and professional manner.
- Data Management: Accurately log ‘no shows’, process cancellations, withdrawals, and absences in line with policy.
- Learner Query Resolution: Address learner queries related to the assessment process, exam regulations, appeals, and more.
- Exam Adjustments: Handle requests for reasonable adjustments and ensure learners’ needs are taken into account during assessments.
- Records Management: Maintain accurate records in the Institute’s systems (CRM, exam platform) and ensure sensitive documents (exam papers, medical information) are handled securely.
- Collaboration: Work with colleagues across departments to ensure processes, procedures, and learning materials are relevant and up-to-date.
- Support in Assessment Production: Assist with the production of assessment materials, including scheduling meetings with examiners and tracking progress.
- Reporting: Produce reports on learner performance, including prize winners, and ensure accuracy in the data.
- Stakeholder Communication: Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of any updates and communicate Institute processes clearly and timely.
- Event Representation: Attend events on behalf of the Institute as required.
- Post-Exam Processes: Assist with post-exam processes, such as appeals and extenuating circumstances requests.
Experience:
- Experience in an administrative role.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience working with databases and online learning platforms – desired but not essential.
- Proven track record in customer service, particularly in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential documents.
