Join our friendly, forward-thinking team at a 3-branch small animal practice based on the outskirts of beautiful Edinburgh. We’re currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us at our Musselburgh branch in a permanent, full-time role (part-time hours also considered).
About Us
We’re a supportive and sociable team, made up of 11 RVNs, 14 vets, and 10 admin staff. From pub quizzes to waterpark days, we love organising regular team events and enjoy a workplace culture that’s as much about friendship as it is about professional excellence.

Your New Role
As part of our nursing team, your role will be varied and rewarding. You’ll be responsible for providing post-operative and in-patient care, monitoring anaesthetics and sedations, and preparing surgical suites and patients for procedures. Your day may also include conducting nurse consultations, carrying out radiography and ultrasonography, and ensuring the care and maintenance of clinical equipment. Laboratory duties and infection control are part of our high standards of patient care, and you’ll also provide occasional holiday cover at our other branches.
Working Hours
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 4 days, helping to support a healthy work-life balance. Our opening hours are 8am-8pm. You will also participate in a 1 in 5 weekend rota with time off in lieu.
