Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Trainee Machine Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to begin or progress a career in the timber industry. Full training will be provided, including the chance to develop machine operating skills within a fast-paced sawmill environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation of sawmill machinery and equipment (training provided)
- Handle, sort, and stack timber products safely and efficiently
- Support production teams with material preparation and workflow
- Follow stock control processes for incoming and outgoing timber
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines at all times
- Carry out any additional tasks needed to support the smooth running of the sawmill
Qualifications & Experience
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
