We are now looking for an experienced Sales and Events Manager to join the Gordon Ramsay Team.
As Sales & Event Manager you will effectively manage and sell all group, private dining and event spaces within the restaurants which includes the effective handling of all customer enquiries and ensure conversion targets are achieved on an ongoing basis.
In addition, you will be responsible for being the main contact for bookings from initial enquiry stage, planning the details of the event / booking through to handover to the restaurants.
How you do it:
- Full management and co-ordination of all events from enquiry to hand over to the restaurant to deliver the event.
- Effective account management of all designated accounts to ensure revenue is maximised and budgets are achieved
- Main point of contact between operations and sales team
- Co-ordinate and co-led pricing strategy to maximise sales opportunities
- Effective handling of group bookings into the restaurant ensuring timely and effective communication with the restaurant and optimisation of open table
- Ensure contracts are put in place for each event and signed and returned by clients in a timely manner
- Effective diary management to enable timely follow up enquiries and completion of client contracts
- Ensure efficient use of the CRM (Salesforce) system and ensure all enquiries are recorded on the system
- Identify potential business development opportunities and follow up to build account portfolio
- Be proactive and identify potential opportunities to improve event and private dining revenue
- Maintain good relationships with the restaurants to maximise revenue and optimize occupancy of event / private dining spaces
