Overview

We are now looking for an Events Coordinator to support our Sales & Events team during the festive period on a 3 month fixed term contract (October 2025 – January 2026).

Purpose of the Job:

Effectively manage and sell all group, private dining and event spaces within the restaurants which includes the effective handling all customer enquiries and ensure conversion targets are achieved on an ongoing basis. In addition of being responsible for the planning of the event / booking through to handover to the restaurants.

Key Accountabilities

  • Full management and co-ordination of Private Dining & Events from enquiry to hand over to the restaurant to deliver the event.
  • Effective account management of all designated accounts to ensure revenue is maximised and budgets are achieved
  • Main point of contact between operations and sales team
  • Ensure contracts are put in place for each event and signed and returned by clients in a timely manner
  • Ensure effective liaison with the corporate and private clients
  • Effective diary management to enable timely follow up enquiries and completion of client contracts
  • Ensure efficient use of the CRM (Salesforce) system and ensure all enquiries are recorded on the system
  • Be proactive and identify potential opportunities to improve event and private dining revenue
  • Maintain good relationships with the restaurants to maximise revenue and optimize occupancy of event / private dining spaces
  • Support with department administration
  • Ensure all emails are responded to within a timely manner
  • Follow up on all allocated events feedback after the event in a timely manner ensuring any negative feedback is effectively handled
  • Ensure attendance at the restaurants when there is key client event / dinner taking place to ensure the event is set up as requested and the client is effectively greeted
  • Delivery of adhoc projects as requested by the Commercial Operations Director and the Account Managers

Requirements

  • Currently work in high quality guest service environment
  • Sales driven attitude
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Highly responsible and reliable with a professional presentation
  • High organisation skills and respectful of current company processes
  • Is uncompromising in achieving company standards
  • Problem solving, active and adaptable listening skills
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards
  • Quickly build rapport with team and guests
  • Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills

Knowledge, experience and qualifications

  • Knowledge of restaurant diary systems (Opentable Guest Centre preferable)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment
