The Production Team Leader sits at the heart of our Manufacturing operation, leading a specialist production team responsible for assembling our vehicles day‑to‑day. This is a visible, influential role where your decisions directly shape build quality, efficiency and team performance. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering, acting as the link between design intent and physical reality on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing a small, highly skilled production team.
  • Owning daily build activity across multiple vehicle programmes.
  • Driving continuous improvement across assembly processes.
  • Supporting production ramp‑up, cycle‑time planning and line balancing.
  • Playing a hands‑on role in new model introductions.
  • Working directly with Engineering and Quality to resolve build issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Automotive manufacturing experience within an OEM or specialist environment.
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in vehicle assembly.
  • A strong understanding of assembly processes and full product life‑cycle activity.
  • Confidence leading problem‑solving in a production environment.
  • A practical, organised and improvement‑focused mindset.
