We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Gambling Wellbeing Practitioner to join our clinical team. You will work closely with the Clinical Lead, CBT Therapists, Gambling Therapists, Recovery Workers, and external partners to support individuals experiencing gambling-related harm. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based, psychologically informed interventions that promote recovery, emotional wellbeing, social inclusion, and positive long-term outcomes. You will support assessments, care planning, low-intensity therapeutic interventions, safeguarding responsibilities, and partnership working across services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about mental health, addiction recovery, and helping people rebuild their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Practice: Deliver psychologically informed wellbeing interventions to individuals affected by gambling-related harm.
  • Support assessments and formulation of emotional, psychological, and social needs.
  • Help service users identify goals and develop recovery-focused care plans.
  • Deliver structured short-term interventions within agreed treatment pathways.
  • Encourage engagement with treatment, peer support, and recovery activities.
  • Support access to appropriate external services and community resources.
  • Risk and Safeguarding: Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
