The role
We are looking for a proactive and confident Marketing & Events Lead to raise awareness of Gordon Moody, our services and the impact of our work.
Working closely with the Commercial Director and wider Commercial team, you will develop and deliver marketing campaigns, events, conferences and stakeholder engagement activity across the UK.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you will help ensure Gordon Moody is visible to the right audiences, including healthcare professionals, NHS and public health teams, commissioners, employers, partners and community organisations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver Gordon Moody’s marketing and events plan.
- Create targeted marketing and awareness campaigns across a range of channels.
- Lead the planning and delivery of conferences, exhibitions, roundtables, webinars and stakeholder events.
- Take ownership of Gordon Moody’s annual external events calendar.
- Lead the delivery of Gordon Moody’s flagship conference.
- Represent Gordon Moody at external events and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop marketing materials, presentations, referral information and event collateral.
- Work closely with our Content & Digital Engagement Officer to create joined-up digital and offline campaigns.
- Support partnership development, service promotion and referral generation.
- Manage marketing and events budgets and measure the impact of campaigns and activity.
About you
You will be an experienced marketing, events or communications professional who is comfortable combining strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
You will ideally have:
- Experience delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong experience organising conferences, exhibitions or stakeholder events.
- Confidence representing an organisation externally and building relationships.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience producing marketing materials and working within brand guidelines.
- The ability to manage several projects and deadlines at the same time.
- A good understanding of how marketing and events can increase awareness, engagement, referrals and partnerships.
- A willingness to travel regularly across the UK and attend events when required.
Experience withinhealthcare, NHS, public health, charity or VCSE organisations would be an advantage, as would experience marketing health, treatment or support services.
