Reporting To: Commercial Director

Location: Hybrid

Salary: £55 – 60k (depending on experience)

Role Purpose: You will lead the development of strategic partnerships that increase awareness of Gambling Therapy, generate referral pathways into treatment and support the organisation's long‑term sustainability. The postholder will identify, develop and manage relationships across healthcare, corporate wellbeing, sport, insurance, public sector and third sector organisations, creating opportunities that increase access to support and contribute to organisational growth. The role will play a key part in delivering Gordon Moody's Board‑approved Growth & Sustainability Programme and the Gambling Therapy Commercial Pathway Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and implement a partnership development strategy. Build relationships with:
    • Integrated Care Boards
    • NHS organisations
    • Private healthcare providers
    • Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs)
    • Insurers
    • Sporting organisations
    • Local authorities
    • Third sector organisations
    • International partners
  • Develop referral pathways into Gambling Therapy and available treatment services.
  • Identify opportunities for collaborative service delivery and growth.
  • Commercial Development: Develop propositions for insurers and corporate wellbeing providers. Support the development of sustainable income streams. Maintain a partnership pipeline and growth forecasts. Contribute to commercial planning and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Gordon Moody at conferences, events and stakeholder meetings. Develop relationships with commissioners, healthcare professionals and sector leaders. Support strategic influencing activity.
  • Reporting & Governance: Maintain CRM records and partnership reporting. Produce regular updates for the Commercial Director / Business Development Director and the Commercial Committee. Monitor partnership performance and outcomes.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Experience of developing strategic partnerships.
  • Experience of business development, stakeholder engagement or account management.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong networking and relationship‑building skills.
  • Experience managing pipelines and opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Healthcare, charity or public sector experience.
  • Knowledge of gambling harms, mental health or addiction services.
  • Experience working with insurers or EAP providers.
  • Experience of CRM systems.
