Role: Operations Manager * Location: Manchester Region * Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 plus package and bonus * Social Housing * Permanent role Gordon Leak Associates is working with a growing Social Housing company who are looking to recruit an experienced Ops Manager to join their North Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who due to growth is offering a competitive salary, career progression and a fantastic work life balance. We are looking for candidates that have worked in Social Housing/Housing Associations or on External projects but will also consider other refurbishment experience within housing. This is an exceptional role with a clear progression path. Duties * Lead and manage the day to day responsibility for the Housing team * You will be responsible for ensuring the most effective processes in place, to enable to deliver the best service * Responsible for managing the budgets in these areas and ensuring value for money. * You will have in-depth knowledge of Housing services and a proven track record in leadership, housing management and budget management * Experience of management of specialist housing services within a regulated environment * Experience of developing and delivering service improvement projects * Experience of operational leadership of case management including effective partnership working * Evidence of leading successful, high performing teams * Ability to use insight reports and implement change initiatives as a result * Able to perform to a high standard within a pressurised environment * Excellent written communication skills for effective correspondence, report writing and statistical work and excellent verbal communication skills including assertiveness, listening, negotiating, and influencing skills * Demonstrable ability to make informed decisions when assisting and supporting dealing with complex or challenging cases * You will need to have strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills at all levels To act as a role model in actively putting the customer at the heart of the service. * Responsibility for ensuring that your team work safely and ensure compliance.
