Gordon Forsyth Building Services (GFBS) are a long‑established and reputable building contractor with an in‑house workshop and manufacturing facility based in Edinburgh. We deliver a wide range of high‑quality residential and commercial projects across the city and the surrounding areas which includes new builds, extensions, structural alterations, hard landscaping, and general building works.
We are looking to add an experienced Bricklayer / General Builder to our multi‑disciplined team.
Skills & Experience Required- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Proven experience in bricklaying, blockwork, and general builders' work
- Experience with foundations, drainage, concrete works, structural alterations, and setting‑out preferred
- Stonemasonry (highly beneficial but not essential)
- Ability to read drawings and work to high standards of accuracy
- Proactive, reliable, enthusiastic and hard‑working
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider site team
- Experience in a similar role is essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £16.00-£25.00 per hour
