Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting collateral examinations and due diligence reviews across a wide range of financing structures, including:
- Asset Based Lending (ABL)
- Receivables Finance and Factoring
- Trade Finance
- Receivables Purchase Facilities
- Securitisation and Structured Finance Transactions
Assignments will involve both on-site and remote reviews of borrower operations, accounting systems, collateral records and reporting processes. The role offers significant exposure to a diverse range of industries, businesses and financing structures throughout Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field examinations and due diligence reviews of accounts receivable, inventory and related collateral.
- Analyse financial information, accounting records and management reports.
- Review borrowing base calculations and collateral eligibility criteria.
- Assess operational processes, controls and reporting procedures.
- Interview management and key operational personnel.
- Identify risks, trends and areas requiring further investigation.
- Prepare clear, concise and commercially focused reports for lender and investor clients.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support business development initiatives where appropriate.
Experience & Qualifications:
We are interested in speaking with candidates who possess some or all of the following:
- Previous field examination, audit, due diligence or collateral review experience.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable and inventory financing.
- Knowledge of Asset Based Lending, Receivables Finance or Structured Finance products.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification (qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience).
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe.
