The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactive client outreach, outbound prospecting, and securing new sales opportunities through high-volume telephone activity, LinkedIn networking, and professional outreach platforms. This role requires a confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and can effectively engage decision-makers, build commercial relationships, and generate qualified opportunities for the sales team. A fluent German speaker is preferred to support our expanding operations in German-speaking markets.

Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting
Research, identify, and target new business opportunities and potential leads across the EMEA region, focusing on both existing and untapped markets. Conduct proactive outbound prospecting through high-volume phone calls, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and other professional communication platforms. Engage directly with senior decision-makers, including C-suite executives, finance teams, operations leaders, and restructuring professionals to identify sales opportunities. Qualify leads by contacting companies to confirm site closure, restructuring activity, insolvency events, or other circumstances that may precipitate the sale of assets. Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities through disciplined daily outreach activity and KPI-driven prospecting. Develop creative outreach strategies and messaging approaches to maximise response rates and engagement with prospective clients. Research target companies and market sectors to identify the right contacts and sales opportunities.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Build effective relationships with prospective clients through regular outreach, follow-up calls and emails, LinkedIn engagement, and professional networking. Conduct company introduction calls and presentations with potential clients, effectively communicating the company’s value proposition and service offerings. Maintain ongoing communication with prospects to nurture relationships and advance opportunities through the sales pipeline until becoming qualified opportunities. Secure asset lists, arrange site inspections, or coordinate GB presentations with prospective clients and transition relationships to the senior sales team following qualification.
  • Sales Strategy & Market Development
Work closely with senior sales leadership to support development of strategies for market penetration and growth across EMEA, with a specific emphasis on the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Identify and develop new lead sources through market research, networking, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, industry databases, and other prospecting tools including AI. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, restructuring markets, and economic developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all outreach activities, prospect engagement, call notes, and sales progression within Salesforce CRM. Track lead development, follow-up schedules, pipeline activity, and conversion metrics to support reporting and performance management. Meet or exceed monthly, and quarterly outreach KPIs, including call volumes, meetings booked, qualified leads generated, and pipeline contribution.
  • Collaboration
Collaborate with Gordon Brothers cross-functional teams, including Lending, Valuations, Real Estate, and jurisdictions outside EMEA to support cross-border opportunities and deliver tailored client solutions. Support seamless handover of qualified opportunities to senior sales professionals and operational teams.

Role is office-based with occasional travel required.
