Bristol, Somerset – Temporary – Gordano School – 0.8 FTE to Full-Time Maternity Cover – From 1st September 2026 until 31st August 2027 or earlier should the postholder return to work sooner.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of History. You must be able to teach History to A-Level, and will preferably also be able to offer our other Humanities subjects to year 7, although prior experience of this is not essential. This role would suit either an ECT or more experienced teacher. The postholder will engage in regulated activity.
The successful candidate will:
- be an excellent classroom teacher with a real commitment to high quality teaching and learning.
- be able to enthuse, engage and motivate students to raise standards to achieve at all levels;
