Duties and Responsibilities

Partnering closely with key decision makers, you will provide analytical insights to support decision making and their P&L impact. You will also work with stakeholders to determine strategic initiatives to drive the long-term growth of the business and be responsible for modelling the impact of those initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, can manage various stakeholders and has strong analytical capabilities.

  • Understanding and influencing the underlying drivers of performance to help drive the top and bottom line
  • Scenario modelling and business casing for multiple initiatives and layering this into financial planning
  • Be an active participant in cross-functional planning cycles, linking our strategy to operating and financial metrics
  • Providing proactive and high-quality analysis to support decision making
  • Gathering and analyzing large amounts of information to develop insightful strategic recommendations
  • Liaising with investors, handling information requests and preparing investor presentations
  • Working closely with the Director of Business Performance to translate operational performance and forecasts into financial models

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Very strong relevant work experience (we would typically expect a minimum of four years' experience)
  • Experience in a top-tier investment bank (at Associate level as a minimum) with advanced complex financial modelling and analytical skills (advanced Excel proficiency required)
  • Experience in influencing stakeholders at various levels
  • Experience in sharing business narratives with executives
  • Excellent commercial acumen and interpersonal skills
  • A problem-solver with the ability to effectively articulate findings
