Dija is on a mission to transform the way consumers do grocery shopping by offering the fastest delivery in London. We are looking for a team to build the future of delivering orders to customers in 10 minutes flat. Impress at our fast-growing start-up and there could be opportunities to grow with us.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and manage all store and warehouse operations including deliveries, inventory, equipment, and systems.
- Design process maps, monitor and implement changes to business processes and tailor adjustments as needed.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve performance, providing direction and guidance on executing company programs.
- Implement and monitor human resource compliance, asset protection, safety controls, overseeing the safety of our people and products, operational and quality assurance reviews.
- Teach and train the site leadership in controlling expenses to ensure adherence to budget and sales volume.
- Create and implement plans to improve the financial performance of the warehouses.
- Support the site operations team in their recruiting efforts to ensure that we have the proper staff to manage day-to-day operations.
- Coach and train Dija staff in your warehouses to continue to improve day-to-day execution, while preparing them to take on new roles and responsibilities.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required
- Experience in store operations, store replenishment, and people management.
- Experience in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large onboarding programs to train and onboard high performing employees.
- Adept at analytical work and the ability to motivate others in a deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
- Effective communicator.
- Ability to think and drive strategic initiatives across a large span of operations.
- Ability to guide, direct, maintain and monitor all activities associated with the successful application of business excellence.
- Ability to work proactively with all stakeholders to maintain a programme of continual improvement within their areas of responsibility.
