Go Places is the UK’s leading TikTok Shop agency. We run end-to-end social commerce for some of the country’s most exciting consumer brands — across live shopping, affiliates, paid media, and branded content. We’re around 50 people and growing fast. This is a new role, created because we’ve reached the point where hiring is a competitive advantage, and we want someone who owns it properly.
The role involves being our first dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner — responsible for building the systems, pipelines, and candidate experience that let us hire well, consistently, at pace. You’ll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to understand our talent needs, run our end-to-end hiring process, and maintain a warm bench of strong candidates before roles are even live. A secondary part of your role will be supporting on broader People topics as the team scales.
What you’ll own:
- Design and continuously improve our end-to-end hiring process — from job brief to offer — so it’s fast, fair, and repeatable across every function.
- Build and maintain an active talent pipeline — commercial, creative, and technical roles — so we’re never starting from scratch when a vacancy opens.
- Run multi-channel sourcing — LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, async video screening tools, referral programmes — and prioritise channels by quality, not volume.
- Partner with hiring managers to write sharp job briefs, structure interview formats, and ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience at every stage.
- Own our ATS and recruitment data — tracking time-to-hire, source quality, pipeline conversion, and offer acceptance, with regular reporting to the SLT.
- Manage agency relationships and PSL when specialist or volume support is needed — briefing, quality control, and cost management.
- Support on wider People initiatives — onboarding, employer brand, engagement surveys, and ad hoc HR tasks as the business grows.
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5 years of in-house or agency recruitment experience, with a track record of hiring across multiple disciplines (commercial, marketing, ops, or tech).
- Experience designing or significantly improving a hiring process — not just running one — with strong opinions on what good looks like at each stage.
- Confident sourcer — LinkedIn Recruiter power user, proactive with outreach, and able to build warm pipelines for roles before they’re live.
- Data-literate — comfortable tracking recruitment metrics and using them to make decisions, not just report them.
- Organised and self-directed — you can hold multiple live processes at once without dropping the ball on candidate experience or internal communication.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving start-up environment where things change quickly and you’re expected to figure it out, not wait for a playbook.
Nice to have:
- Experience hiring in a digital marketing, e-commerce, or social commerce environment.
- Some exposure to People/HR generalist work — onboarding, policies, engagement, or culture initiatives.
- Familiarity with async screening tools (e.g. Willo, Hireflix) and a view on where they add value in a hiring process.
What we offer:
- £45,000 salary.
- Annual bonus (up to 15%).
- Hybrid working (London base).
- 25 days holiday + your birthday off and public holidays.
- Work from home possible on Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Pension scheme with Go Places contributions.
- Free access to a gym in our office building.
- Summer Working Hours (Finish at 1pm on Fridays Jun - August).
- The ability to work from abroad for 2 weeks per year.
- Quarterly Team Lunches paid for by Go Places.
- Free drinks and healthy snacks in our office, as well as bi-weekly team socials.
- Tonnes of Go Places merch (bottles, pens, t-shirts, tote bags etc).
