Retail Leadership Opportunities – Cornwall
As Goose & Gander continues to grow across Cornwall, we’re looking for passionate and driven individuals to join us across a range of retail leadership roles — from Cornwall Retail Manager to Store Managers and Supervisors. These are key positions within our expanding retail team, all playing a vital role in building high-performing stores, embedding our brand culture, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Whether leading a region, managing a store, or supporting day-to-day operations on the shop floor, you will be instrumental in shaping environments that are welcoming, community-driven, and commercially strong. What You’ll Be Doing
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, inspire, and develop high‑performing teams across store environments
- Create a positive, inclusive, and high‑energy culture with strong accountability
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members
- Set clear expectations around performance, behaviour, and customer experience
- Brand & Customer Experience
- Champion a consistent, brand‑led experience across all customer touchpoints
- Lead from the front on the shop floor, setting the standard for service and product knowledge
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation in line with brand direction
- Build a strong connection between the brand and the local community
- Commercial Performance & Operations
- Drive sales and performance against KPIs including conversion and ATV
- Oversee day‑to‑day store operations, including rotas, reporting, and stock management
- Use data and insight to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Ensure operational excellence, including health & safety standards
- Community & Activations
- Support and deliver in‑store events, product launches, and brand activations
- Build relationships with local customers, creatives, and partners
- Bring energy and creativity to how we show up in each community
- Gather feedback to help shape future retail and brand initiatives
